In the summer of 2011 a group of twenty athletes came to the Mattole County Cabins for a team building and endurance retreat.  We can't express enough gratitude to our hosts, Mel and Ian.  They were accommodating and genuine people who made us feel welcome and relaxed.  They were more than just hosts they became our friends.
